Kenny Cheng

Kenny Cheng (he/him) is a Product Designer at Stranger Creative, where he crafts marketing websites, digital products, and campaign experiences across enterprise tech, commerce, and non-profit brands. He partners closely with clients and internal teams to translate insights into designs that are equally strategic, usable, and visually expressive. 

Before joining Stranger Creative, Kenny spent several years designing tools that support people doing meaningful work—from grassroots political organizing to health coaching. As a multidisciplinary designer, his work spans interaction design, user research, design systems, and marketing and brand execution. He led user research, prototyping, and testing efforts that helped teams work more efficiently, improved product usability, and helped brands communicate clearly and creatively. 

Kenny holds a B.S. in Cognitive Science-Interaction Design from the UC San Diego. He is currently based in San Diego, where he enjoys discovering new food spots, running along the bay, listening to pop music, and playing video games. Kenny also serves as a Community Director at QTBIPOC Design, supporting mentorship and education programs for LGBTQ+ BIPOC Designers.

Yasmina Hashemi is a Senior Project Manager at Stranger Creative, where she leads complex, multi-workstream programs across brand, content, and digital experience. She brings a structured yet adaptive approach to project delivery, connecting strategy, creative, and operations to ensure work is executed with clarity and momentum. Yasmina works closely with cross-functional teams and clients to translate ambitious ideas into cohesive, high-impact outcomes.

Before joining Stranger Creative, Yasmina held project and program management roles across award winning agencies and brands including TwentyFirstCenturyBrand, Pendo, ANINE BING, and MOTHER Denim, where she led integrated campaigns, brand initiatives, and operational systems for creative teams. She has also worked across cultural and nonprofit spaces, developing programming and editorial platforms that center emerging artists and alternative narratives. Yasmina holds a degree in International Relations from University of British Columbia and studied Communications at Simon Fraser University.

Yasmina is currently based in New York, after working across Los Angeles and Vancouver. Outside of work, she is deeply engaged in cultural research and storytelling, with a focus on contemporary art, media, and emerging digital communities. She enjoys writing, curating, and exploring new cities through their cultural and social landscapes.
